Rainstorms and Rum

Today my cooperating teacher and I decided that I will start teaching Creative Writing on Monday. Yippie! I'm kind of nervous but very excited to be doing something other than observing and making photocopies. I had a major headache today, and I barely ever get headaches. I think it was a tension headache. That's why when I came home from student teaching today and it started thundering and I knew I couldn't get a run in before the rain (running helps reduce tension for me), I decided that Dan and I had to have some rum and cokes on the front porch and watch the rainstorm. Ah. Life doesn't get much better than that.
